Installation Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to every installation by Lalit Enterprises. Before work starts, you receive a personal agreement with your job details to read and sign online. Version 2026-10-29.

01Scope of work

  • The work covers the systems, items and quantities listed in this agreement and in the quotation it refers to.
  • Any extra item, extra cabling or change requested at site is quoted separately and done only after your approval.
  • Civil work, false-ceiling work, painting, electrical points and internet connections are not included unless written in the quotation.

02Payment

  • 70% of the order value is payable in advance, before material is ordered and work starts.
  • The balance 30% is payable on completion, at handover of the working system.
  • GST is charged as applicable and as stated in the quotation.
  • Material supplied remains the property of Lalit Enterprises until the full payment is received.

03Site readiness and your responsibilities

  • You give our team safe access to the site during agreed working hours.
  • You arrange any permission needed from your society, building or landlord.
  • Power points and, where remote viewing is needed, a working internet connection are provided by you.
  • You are responsible for where cameras point. They must not record neighbours’ private areas or places such as washrooms.

04Timelines

  • Dates given are estimates. Delays caused by site readiness, approvals, material availability, changes you request or events outside our control extend the timeline.

05Warranty

  • Products carry the manufacturer’s warranty as per the brand’s own terms. We help you claim it.
  • Our workmanship warranty for this job: the period stated in your agreement, counted from the date of handover.
  • Warranty does not cover physical damage, water, fire, lightning or power surges, tampering, relocation, repairs by others, consumables such as batteries, or internet / network problems.
  • Service visits not covered by warranty or an AMC are chargeable.

06Passwords and recordings

  • At handover you receive the admin passwords. Keep them safe and change them if anyone else learns them.
  • Recordings belong to you. We do not access your system after handover unless you ask us to.

07Cancellation

  • If you cancel after paying the advance, the cost of material already ordered and work already done is deducted, and the balance is refunded.
  • Items ordered specially for your site cannot be returned.

08Limitation of liability

  • Security and fire systems reduce risk and help you respond faster. They cannot guarantee that theft, fire, damage or loss will not happen.
  • Lalit Enterprises is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability is limited to the value of this order.

09Maintenance

  • An annual maintenance contract (AMC) is not part of this agreement unless agreed separately in writing.

10General

  • This agreement, with the quotation, is the full understanding between you and Lalit Enterprises for this job.
  • Any dispute is subject to the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.
  • By typing your name and submitting this form you accept these terms electronically. The date and time of acceptance are recorded.
