02Built for security
- Hijack alarm: mark one fingerprint or PIN as a duress code. If someone forces you to open the door, it opens and the app raises an alarm.
- Anti-peep PIN: type random digits before and after your real PIN (up to 32 digits) so onlookers can't learn it.
- Wrong-attempt lock-out: after more than 5 wrong attempts the keypad blocks for 30 seconds.
- Combination mode: require two credentials, such as fingerprint plus PIN, for higher security.
- Up to 9 administrators control who can add or remove users.
03Made for everyday life
- Remote unlock: a visitor presses 9 then # on the keypad; you get a request in the app and tap to allow.
- Guest passwords: create temporary passwords with a start and end time, and send them by SMS.
- Unlock records: see who opened the door and when, newest first.
- Passage mode: keep the door open without a code during a party or office hours.
- Voice guidance in English, and it can be switched off.

05Free installation
Installation is free. We supply and install the XR-8 Pro across Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Thane. Our technician fits the lock, registers your administrators and users, connects the app if you want it, and shows you how everything works.
06Owner support
Every XR-8 Pro owner gets help through Lock Chat: answers for adding users, changing batteries, app setup and more, plus service bookings. You can also call us during office hours (Mon–Sat, 9 AM – 7 PM).
07Common questions
Will the XR-8 Pro fit my door?
It fits wooden and steel doors 40–120 mm thick, left- or right-hand, opening inward or outward. For thicker doors, contact us.
Do I need the app?
No. The app is optional. Fingerprint, PIN, card and key all work without it. The app adds remote unlock, guest passwords and unlock records.
What happens if the batteries run out?
The lock warns you early. If they do run out, connect a 5 V power bank to the emergency port and open with your fingerprint, PIN or card, or use the mechanical key. Your users and settings stay saved.
Can I install it myself?
We recommend installation by an ELÈTTRON technician so the lock is aligned correctly with your door. Installation by our technician is free.
What is the warranty?
The XR-8 Pro comes with a 2-year warranty. It does not cover damage from force, impact or misuse, removing the screw inside the handle hub, or taking apart the mortise face plate.
